RANDOLPH- Cheryl A. Moore, 70 years of age, passed away at the Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care in Milton on Wednesday, March 15th 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Cheryl was born on January 18, 1947 at the Boston Lying-In, hospital. Cheryl was raised in Jamaica Plain and was a graduate Boston Schools. She had been employed as an executive secretary at the Statehouse under the Dukakis Administration. After her employment at the statehouse, Cheryl went on to work for the MBTA Carman’s Union Local 589 for 25 years before retiring 5 years ago. Cheryl was the beloved daughter of the late Harry D. Moore and Grace “Honey” I. (Maxwell) Moore. She is the devoted sister of Marilyn “Merry” Moore-Coffey of Norwood and Cheryl’s twin sister Sharon L. Moore-Jabotte of Hanover. She was the sister of the late Thomas Moore and Carol Moore-Thibault-Costello. Cheryl is also survived by several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Monday, March 20th from 4-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the First Congregational Church, 12 Elm Street, Braintree on Tuesday, March 21st at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Rather than flowers, memorial donations in Cheryl’s memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
