Braintree – April Marie McGrath, 33 years of age passed away unexpectedly September 7, 2016 in Holbrook. She was born in Stoughton and attended Braintree Schools. She is survived by her mother Elizabeth Anne (Strickland) McGrath of Braintree. Her father was the late James S. McGrath who died in 2001. April is survived by a daughter, Kaylee Varasso, 12 years old of Brockton. She is also survived by two aunts Laura Strickland of Bridgewater and Joan Hoyte of Holbrook and two uncles John Strickland of N.H. and David Strickland of Braintree. Visitation will be on Friday, September 16th, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington Street, Braintree. There will be a Catholic Prayer Service at the funeral home Friday, September 16th at 4:00 P.M. Memorial donations may be given to April’s mother Elizabeth Anne McGrath for the purpose related to funeral and cremation expenses.
