Braintree – Thomas Patrick Lynch, Jr. 89 years of age entered Eternal Life on February 22, 2017.  He was born in South Boston and was raised in Dorchester where he graduated from Dorchester High School. He had resided in Braintree for a number of years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict Thomas had been a truck driver for the Consolidated Box Company of Somerville as well as a traffic director for the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He was son of the late Thomas P. Lynch, Sr. and Julia (Kelly) Lynch. He was the loving brother of  the late Henry Lynch, John Lynch married to Sara Lee Lynch of Stafford, VA, the late Helen Grasso wife of the late Peter Grasso Margaret Kelly wife of the late John Kelly of Rochester, N.H., Frances DePietro  wife of the late Felix DePietro, Jr.of Rockland , Mary Callahan who was married to  the late Gerald Callahan, the  late William Lynch, and Lillian Scott married to Robert Scott of CT. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Friday, March 3rd  from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. to be followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Francis of Assisi Church 856 Washington Street, South Braintree at 11:30 A.M. Burial will follow at New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
