BRAINTREE- Ralph J. DiNapoli, of Braintree, who turned 100 years old in July, passed away at the South Shore Hospital on Sunday, September 18, 2016. He was born in Boston and graduated from East Boston High School. He subsequently went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Bentley College in Accounting. He worked most of his career at the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston until his retirement in 1980. Ralph enjoyed playing pool at the Braintree Senior Center where he was a member. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus. He was a communicant of St. Clare Parish in Braintree, where for his 100th Birthday he was present and the entire congregation sang Happy Birthday to him. He is survived by his son Ralph J. DiNapoli II of Braintree and his sisters Judith Romano of Lakeville and Marsha Hill of Braintree. Ralph is also survived by two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Wednesday, September 21st from 4-8pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Thursday, September 22nd at 9:00am to be followed by a Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Clare, 1244 Liberty Street, Braintree at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Memorial donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
