BRAINTREE- Attorney Charles W. George died on January 5, 2017 after a long illness. Mr. George was a professor of law and business at Massasoit College for 43 years and served as Chair of the Business Department. He was loved and admired by students and faculty and offered pro bono legal services to those in need. He graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration; he has a Master’s Degree in Education and a Juris Doctor Degree in Law. In 1967, he became a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.  He leaves his beloved and devoted wife Jeanette Shire George; three beloved daughters Denise George Beaudoin, Esq. and son-in-law Thomas Beaudoin, Esq.; twin daughters Cheryl George Kay and Charlene George Anderson and son-in-law Dr. Laurence Anderson; eight grandchildren Andrew, Amanda, and Teddy Beaudoin; Charles, Alexander, and Justin Anderson; and Jade and Luke Kay; a beloved brother Louis A. George Jr.; and sister Gloria Weber, both of Milton, Massachusetts. Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Friday, January 13th from 4-8pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Saturday, January 14th at 9:30am to be followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street, Braintree at 10:30am.
