Thomas N Norton

Thomas Nicholas Norton of Braintree passed away peacefully on December 26, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Toronto, Canada to the late Nicholas T. and Doreen (Quinn) Norton on September 22, 1948.

Tom was raised and educated in Braintree and graduated from Braintree High School, class of 1967.  He was a United States Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War as an Aircraft Mechanic Repairman earning the SP5 Specialist rank.   He was employed by the United States Postal Service before retiring in 2010. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. 

Tom is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 47 years, Andrea (Cevolani) Norton of Braintree, his children Samantha Sheehan and her husband Bruce, Cheryl Amante and her husband Jeffrey all of Braintree and Timothy and his wife Jacquelin of Pembroke.  Dear Papa of Abigail, Ashley, Thomas, Jack, Adam and Andrew.  Brother of Mary Ann Dilks of Quincy, Peter Norton of Weymouth, Nicholas Norton of Delray Beach, Florida and the late Kevin Norton and Kathleen Minahan.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday January 2, 2022 from 4-8 at Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street Braintree.  A funeral mass will be held on Monday January 3, 2022 at 11:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street Braintree.  Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery.
