Sara L. Bartlett of Braintree, passed away January 23, 2023 at Salem Hospital, after a
long illness. She was the beloved daughter of Helen and Russell Bartlett. She grew up and
attended school in Braintree. Sara enjoyed ice skating and started at age four (4). She was an
adventurous traveler; visiting forty-nine (49) united states. Alaska was one of her favorite
locations. As a teenager, Sara ventured to take calls on a teen suicide prevention line called,
“Bridge Over Troubled Waters”, in Boston. She was an honors graduate of Framingham State
College; and was elected to “Who’s Who” in American Colleges. Sara will be greatly missed
by her brother, Douglas, her sister, Susan; and her brother-in-law, Scott Peterson. She had
many loving cousins and nieces. A Private Funeral service will be held January 30, 2023 at the
Mortimer N. Peck Funeral Chapel in Braintree. The Reverend Scott Killian, Pastor of the
South Congregational Church in Braintree, will be officiating. A Burial service will follow at
the Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree. Memorial donations may be made to: “The Lupus
