Ruth E. (Fitzgerald) Clark Adams, daughter of Anne H. Meredith and Grover L. Fitzgerald, died on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. She was 94 years old. Born in Boston on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1925, she grew up in Weymouth and attended Weymouth schools. She also lived in Quincy and Abington. Ruth was the wife of the late Daniel M. Clark and the late Raymond T. Adams.She is predeceased by her sister Rosemary (Fitzgerald) Robinson. She is survived by her brother Grover Fitzgerald of Quincy, MA, nephews Steven Fitzgerald of Quincy, MA, Brian Fitzgerald of Norwood, MA, Jeffrey Fitzgerald of Cambridge, MA, niece Rhonda Robinson of Lutz FL her husband Tom Pace and son Ben, nephew Donald Robinson of Thailand his wife and his daughter Amy, and great-nieces Rachel Fitzgerald of Salt Lake City, UT and Sara Fitzgerald of Orlando, FL. A professional bookkeeper, she worked as a cryptographer at Army Intelligence in Arlington, VA during WWII, Stetson Shoe and South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA, as well as Quincy Coop Bank and Quincy Pediatrics in Quincy. There will be no wake. A service of remembrance will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Quincy at 270 Franklin St., Quincy where she has been a member since 1947 and singing in the choir since 1969.
