Ronald Thacher Lucas

BRAINTREE - Ronald Thacher Lucas, age 63, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home.  He was the devoted husband of Marie (Zopatti) Lucas and a wonderful father to Abigail T. Lucas. He was the son of the late Arthur J. H. Sr. & Barbara A. Lucas.   He is survived by 3 brothers, Paul W. Lucas & his wife Jane of China, Maine, Arthur J. H. Lucas, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Randolph, Bruce & his wife Beth of Harwich, and many nieces and nephews.  He was a 1977 graduate of Braintree High School.  He retired in 2021 after 47 years of working as a Maintenance Supervisor for Union Towers in Weymouth.  Ron loved watching  Abigail play softball & Volleyball.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with his many friends. Always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.  Ron will be sorely missed.    Visiting hours will be held at the Braintree Peck Funeral home at 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 4 to 8 PM.  A visitation hour will be held starting on Wednesday, October 15th, 2022, from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM, and a Christian Prayer Service from 11:45 to 12:30 followed by a procession to St. Mary's Cemetery in Randolph, MA at 1 PM.
