Ronald R. Bresnahan, 86, of the Villages Florida (formerly of Westwood) died on Monday, February 12, 2018. Ronald was born in Quincy to the late Robert and Dora Bresnahan and raised in Weymouth where he was a graduate of Weymouth High School. Ronald graduated from Boston University receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and was a member of the ROTC Program. Ronald went on to serve in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  He was stationed in Germany for two years. After his wartime service he eventually settled in Westwood. Ronald was employed by the Cambex Corp. of Waltham where he was named Vice President. He was subsequently employed as an Accountant and Comptroller for Hudson Industries and then for Malden Mills of Lawrence retiring in 2001. Ronald and his wife moved to The Villages in Florida 16 years ago. Ronald was an avid New England Patriots fan.  He began attending games when they were known as the Boston Patriots.  As a Season ticket holder he continued to travel from Florida to Foxboro for many years.  Ronald was the beloved husband of 63 years to Marilyn L. (Tanner) Bresnahan. He was the devoted father of Karen Uthman married to the late Alan of Fairport, New York, Gary Bresnahan married to Ann of Salem, New Hampshire formerly of Walpole and Susan Etler married to Michael of Toms River, New Jersey. Ronald was the proud Grandfather of eight and Great Grandfather of 2. He was the Brother of the late Roberta Bishop, Carol Welch and Linda Craig. A graveside Funeral for Ronald will be held at Blue Hill Cemetery on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends that wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the Mortimer N. Peck – Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree at 10:30 A.M. to follow in procession to the cemetery.  Arrangements are being handled by the Peck Funeral Home of Braintree. Donations can be made to the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation.

The burial will be this Friday, March 16th leaving from the Peck Funeral Home at 516 Washington Street Braintree and heading to the Blue Hill Cemetery at 700 West Street, Braintree, in procession, with Air Force Military Honors.
