Robert W. Junkins, 86 years of Hanover, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 14th after a brief illness.
Born in Boston and a 58-year resident of Braintree. Bob is survived by his loving wife Pat of 68 years. Bob had a love of fishing, but his true passion was spending time with the Lord and reading his Bible, always reminding us to make the Lord the first thing in our lives. Bob is also survived by his children, Robert (Bobby) and his husband Bob Dotson of NC, Patty and her husband Jay of Hanover, Cary and his wife Cindy of West Bridgewater, Sharon and her late husband Jeff of Weymouth, Debbie of Ohio and Mark and his wife Chris of Weymouth. He was also the grandfather of Amanda and her husband Dennis, Andrea and her husband Matthew, Christy and her husband Josh, Erin, Jeffrey and his wife Sara, Jonathan and his wife Elisabeth, Marissa and her love Hayden, Kelly and her husband Eric, Kayla and her husband Chris, Hannah, Haley and her husband Ryan, Nathan, and Sam and his wife Olivia. He is the great grandfather of 16, He is also survived by His brother Elmer and his wife Annette of East Bridgewater, Marion (Maim) of Hanover and his brother Russell and his wife Carol of Hanson.
We are celebrating his life as he wanted with a brief service Thursday 6/18 @ 10am, Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington St., Braintree, MA.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Cancer Society in Bob’s name.
