Mary M (D' Elia) Welch

Mary “D’Elia” Welch of North Andover passed away peacefully on December 12, 2021 at the age of 98.  Born January 10, 1923, she was originally from Somerville and lived in Braintree for over 65 years before moving to North Andover in 2018.  Beloved wife of the late William R. Welch who predeceased her in 2003 after 56 years of marriage.  Daughter of the late Michael and Margaret “White” D’Elia of Somerville.  Loving mother of Charles J. Welch and his wife Randy Welch of Salem N.H., and the late Ann M. Welch. Cherished grandmother of Jason Welch of Andover and Brandon Welch of Billerica.  Beloved sister of Grace Morrill of Mesa AZ and Helen Flynn of Braintree and the late Joseph D’Elia, Anne Young, Ralph D’Elia and Michael D’Elia.  Mary also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, December 21 from 9 - 11:30 A.M at the Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington St. in Braintree and a Funeral Mass at noon at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Braintree. Burial will follow at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy.
