Margaret A (Rockwood) MacNeil-Ericson

Margaret A. (Rockwood) MacNeil-Ericson, 93 of East Weymouth, passed peacefully at her daughters' home in Hanson on August 12. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Russell F. MacNeil. She was the daughter of the late Albert J. Rockwood Sr. and Teresa (Gill) Rockwood. She was 1 of 11 children. Survived by her husband Karl Ericson of Plymouth, her brother Norman Rockwood, her children, William, Irene Somers (Glenn), Donald (Jean), and Ted. Grandchildren Nicole Rattigan (Michael), Mark Somers, Gary Somers, Donald MacNeil, Christopher MacNeil, Tabitha MacNeil. Great-grandchildren Aiden and Liam Rattigan. Her former daughter in law, Susan MacNeil and family friend James Poissant and many nieces and nephews. Retired from Electro-Switch Corp. of Weymouth. She was active many years in the Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post #79 George R. Bean, South Weymouth. Member of Old South Union Church, South Weymouth. Visiting hours Wednesday August 17 from 4pm to 7pm at Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington St. Braintree. Funeral Service on Thursday August 18 at 10:30 at Old South Union Church 25 Columbian St. South Weymouth. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in East Weymouth.
