Madeline F (Farrow) Rice

Madeline F. (Farrow) Rice of Brockton died peacefully surrounded by her family on March 7th at the age of 99. She is reunited with her late husband Willis J. Rice in heaven.

Mrs. Rice was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Florence Farrow of Boston and beloved sister Florence Farrow of Braintree.She was married to the late Willis J. Rice. She is survived by her niece Marylin O’Reilly of Taunton, her great nieces Jennifer Paiva of Taunton  and Danielle Atwood of Natick, her great nephews Marc O’Reilly of Taunton and Jack O’Reilly of Brockton, her great great nieces Casey, Lillian, Caitlyn, Amanda, Rebecca, and Kerilyn and her great great nephews Jimmy and Shayne.

Madeline was born on June 26th, 1923 and grew up in Dorchester. Madeline married the love of her life and the two settled in brockton. She worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Boston for 45 years. She will be greatly missed. A special thank you to the residents and staff of Heights Crossing in Brockton for their hospitality, friendship, and memories.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday March 13th from 9-10 at Peck Funeral Home at 516 Washington Street in Braintree. A funeral home service will begin immediately following visitation at 10am. Burial will be held at the Knollwood Cemetery Canton Ma.
