LuAnn (White) French, age 59 passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022, surrounded by loving friends and family, after a long and courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Daughter of the late Edward and Lucille White, sister of the late Eddie White, born in Quincy on September 4, 1963, LuAnn was a devoted mother to Amanda, Zachary Alexander, and Mackenzie. Dedicated aunt to Scott White and his family ( Lauren, Elliot and Adam Louis), Eddie, Siobhan, and Sean.
LuAnn was well known for her sarcastic sense of humor, quick wit, and excellent laugh. She would do anything for her children and loved to tell stories of their adventures, as well as hear the same from friends. She was an excellent judge of character and found good in everyone. She was always “game” for an adventure and loved to mentor and support the achievements of others. A graduate of Suffolk University, LuAnn was a colleague to many throughout her career, most notably she was a valued member of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Boston Children's Hospital for over 18 years
LuAnn will be fiercely missed by all those she left behind. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed. Our hearts are broken; a life so beautifully lived deserves to be so beautifully remembered.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 5 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Mortimer M Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree and a Funeral Service will be held at the same address on Friday January 6 at 10 am.
