Lorna J. E. Boduck, age 68, of Hull passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, after a long and valiant battle with metastatic breast cancer. Born in Boston, Lorna was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Elizabeth A. Reedy. She was also predeceased by her husband, Stanley G. Boduck. Lorna is survived by her brother, Robert Scott Reedy of Braintree, her beloved daughter, Shannon (Harrington) Bjorkman of Hull, and granddaughters Hannah E. Bjorkman of Cocoa, Florida, and Emma R. Kaminaga of Hull. During her marriage to Stanley, the couple enjoyed traveling, attending concerts and plays in Boston and on Broadway, boating, and spending time with family and friends. Lorna and Stanley never missed the annual Wellfleet OysterFest. In recent years, Lorna continued her Catholic faith as an active member of her Parish community. She also enjoyed every moment she got to spend with her daughter and granddaughters. A graduate of Braintree High School and the University of Massachusetts Boston, Lorna had a successful career that included employment at the Braintree headquarters of retailers Grossman's and DeCelle, serving at the latter as senior buyer for children's wear, and South Shore Women's Health in Weymouth. Lorna will be much missed by her family and friends. She was truly one of a kind. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at the Mortimer N. Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Ann Church/St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, 204 Samoset Avenue in Hull, at 11:00 am on Monday, January 23.
