Lois F (Cheney) Keith

Keith, Lois F (Cheney), of Braintree, passed away peacefully, on September 17, 2023, at the age of 94.  Lois is the beloved wife of the late Bernard Keith.  She was the loving daughter of D. Russell and Helen Cheney of Marshfield.  Born in Somerville, Lois grew up there and graduated from Somerville High School in 1947. Following her graduation, she moved to Braintree where she and her husband built their house on farmland in 1952.  Lois was very active in her Methodist church.  From sewing her dolls and working on the lobster luncheon as well as being treasurer of many groups.  Lois is the loving mother of Joan Keith of Braintree and Arthur (Gail) Keith of Holbrook.  She is also survived by granddaughters Shannon and Christina Keith of Holbrook.  She is the sister of the late Barbara Cheney as well as sister-in-law of the late Marjorie (Francis) Mack of Holbrook and Albert (Betty) Keith of Washington State. Visiting hours will be at the at Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Wednesday, September 20th from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Thursday September 21st from 9:00 - 10:00 am.  A service will follow at 10:00 am with internment to follow at Blue Hills Cemetery.
