Lester Joseph Cuneo

Lester Joseph Cuneo passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 4th, 2023.  He was 91 years old.  
Lester was born on June 27th, 1931 to Emma and Theodore Cuneo and raised in Mansfield and Wareham, MA.  He resided in Braintree the entirety of his life.
He proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War.  He worked as a photographer at Bethlehem Steel, International News Photos, Boston Record American, M.I.T. and Draper Laboratories.  He was the family photographer as well, doing weddings, family photos and family parties throughout the years.
Beloved husband of Rita Loreta (Baccari) Cuneo, loving father to Michael (pre-deceased), Bruce (pre-deceased), his daughter Elaine Shepherd and her husband David of Marshfield, MA, his son Brian Cuneo of Norwell and his daughter-in-law Kathy Cuneo of Rockland.  He is the loving grandfather of Tracy, Erin, Sarah, Blake, Emily, David and Christian.  He was the great grandfather of Annabelle and Steven O'Donnell.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours at Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street in Braintree on Tuesday, January 10th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Mount Wollaston Cemetery, 20 Sea Street, Quincy, MA.
