Kathy Harkins, age 65, of Braintree, Massachusetts passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with a rare lymphoma.
Kathy was born in East Orange, New Jersey, and spent her childhood years in Maplewood, NJ. She attended Columbia High School and later graduated from Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey).
Early in her career, Kathy worked for Bradlees before later obtaining her real estate license. She eventually moved to Braintree, Massachusetts for work, where she met the love of her life, Paul. The two married in 1990 and built a beautiful life together.
Kathy was a dedicated realtor and part owner of Century 21 Professionals. She had a special way about her and often said she didn’t have clients, only friends. Her kindness, generosity, and warm spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Kathy had an incredible sense of humor and a gift for making people feel welcome and cared for.
From the moment she received her diagnosis, Kathy faced her illness with remarkable strength and positivity. Her outlook on life remained hopeful and inspiring until the very end. She lived with grace, love, and an unwavering appreciation for the people around her. Those who knew Kathy will remember her beautiful spirit, her laughter, and the genuine kindness she shared so freely.
Kathy is survived by her beloved husband Paul of 35 years, her son Matt and his wife Michaela, her daughter Jessie and her partner Matt Malloy, her sister Donna Moss, and countless amazing friends whose lives she touched.
Visiting Hours will be on Wednesday March 18 from 9:00- 11:00 A.M. At the Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington St. Braintree, MA 02184. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 at the Funeral Home, Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
