Joyce A Maglio

HANSON - Joyce A. (Aitken) Maglio, passed away at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth on October 4th, 2018.  She was born on February 5th, 1939 to Thomas Aitken and Edna Krause of Missouri.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent L. Maglio Jr.  Joyce was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army serving as a Medical Specialist. Later she worked for Quirk auto dealerships.  She found joy in painting, gardening and traveling around Cape Cod.  Joyce leaves behind her loving sons, Stephen V. and his wife Elizabeth, of Braintree, Michael R. and his wife, Melissa, of Northborough, and her beloved daughter Lynne Guerra and her husband Mark of Pembroke.  She also leaves behind her beloved sister Joan Isaacson and her brother Clarence Grammer, both from Illinois.  She leaves her cherished grandchildren Erika, Kegan, Garrett, Caitlyn and Taryn. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, October 10th, at Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree, from 4 to 8 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held on October 11th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.  The burial will follow at the Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:15 PM.
