Joseph F Santoro

Joseph F. Santoro age 79, of Braintree, Ma. passed away peacefully at his home on January 30th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. A son of the late P. Charles and Helen (Keohane) Santoro, He was born in Boston on July 20th 1942. He was raised in both the Mission Hill and Dorchester areas of Boston before moving to Braintree some fifty years ago. Joe is survived by his two loving children Karen A. Laitinen and Joseph E. Santoro along with his five cherished grandchildren, Stephen McGrath, Shauna (McGrath) Ek, Nicholas McGrath, Kaylee Laitinen and Conner Laitinen; his devoted brother Robert (Bobby) Santoro with whom he resided at their family home for many years. Also, his sister Maria Santoro and her daughter Jennifer Beatty, many cousins, and for several years Joe has enjoyed the companionship of his dear friend Joan Nelson. He will be sorely missed by all of us who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday February 15th at 10 am in Boston at The Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Mission Church) located at 1545 Tremont Street Boston Ma 02120. Internment will be private.
