Joseph Anthony Muscolino

WEYMOUTH - MUSCOLINO, Joseph (formerly of Braintree), 57, passed away
unexpectedly on January 29, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Julie (Wulf)
Muscolino.  Joseph is survived by his loving mother, Grazia (Raimondi) Muscolino. He was the proud
son of the late Carmelo (Charlie) Muscolino. He is also survived by his devoted brother,
Anthony (Tony) Muscolino of Weymouth. Joseph was cherished by his nephew, nieces,
uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Joseph graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Economics in 1988. He had a long career as Manager, Benefits Administration at the MBTA
Retirement Fund. He started at the MBTA as a co-op student while at Northeastern. He was
hired permanently after his graduation and remained there until his retirement.
Joseph was an avid Boston sports fan, and he enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia.
Joseph loved taking long drives, and he traveled frequently to attend his late wife’s family
reunions in Iowa. Joseph was a generous contributor to multiple charitable organizations.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, February 9th from 4-8 P.M. at the Peck Funeral
Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree, MA. The funeral procession will depart from Peck
Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, February 10th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
held at 11:30 A.M. at the St. Clare Church in Braintree on 1244 Liberty Street followed by
interment at the Blue Hill Cemetery on 700 West Street, Braintree.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joseph’s memory to the American Heart
Association.
