John Joseph Shaughnessy III

Beverly and Danvers John Joseph Shaughnessy III, age 68, passed away on September 22, 2022 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was the son of the late John Joseph Shaughnessy Jr. and Edna Audrey Shaughnessy (MacLennan). He was the younger brother to the late William Shaughnessy, the late Carol Shaughnessy (Doyle) and the late Fay Shaughnessy (Gallery). John leaves behind multiple nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews as well as many friends. John will be remembered for his talent as an artist. He could draw anything and even worked for Disney for a short time drawing cartoons. John had a great sense of humor. He loved staying up late and watching "Saturday Night Live" and the late shows. He also loved music from the 60's and 70's. John loved visiting California when he was younger and traveled there quite a lot. John will be buried with his parents at the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. There will be a private service at the cemetery on October 8, 2022 at 10:30 AM.
