Isabella was born in Scotland to John and Elizabeth Mc Lachlan. The family moved to Braintree in 1952, where Isabella remained a lifelong resident. She married Richard Burke Sr in 1960. Graduating Bentley and Lesley college, Isabella worked in finance including Hammett’s in Braintree. She also worked as a crossing guard for the Braintree Police Dept. Isabella was active in many organizations including Eastern Star and Daughters of Scotia. She also belonged to South Congregation Church in Braintree. Isabella is predeceased by her husband Richard Burke Sr. Mum is survived by her daughter Bettina Burke-Clancy and son Richard Burke Jr, both of Braintree. Gramma will be missed by her 4 grandchildren Joseph Clancy Jr., Jake Clancy, John Clancy, Alisabeth Burke and great grand-daughter Savannah Clancy. Isabella is also survived by her sister Elizabeth Allen of Braintree. Her brothers Jack and Glen McLachlan and sister Christine Darmand are predeceased.
