DeSANTIS, Feliciano “Phil”
of Marshfield, passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2022. Feliciano was born on the 7th of October 1939 in Mastroiacovo Italy to Franco and Maria Domenica DeSantis. Phil immigrated to America where he met his future wife, Marsha Pisano, in 1961. They were happily married in 1965 and raised two sons together.
Phil was a big fan of Juventus FC, Red Sox, and Patriots. He was known for his fabulous garden, where he shared all his vegetables with his family and friends, and was especially proud of his tomatoes. Phil also had a passion for making his own wine and would make it every year with his two brothers. His biggest passion was being with his grandchildren: Hannah, Joshua, Joseph, and Abigail.
Phil is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marsha; his son Franco and wife Donna; his son Joseph; his granddaughter Hannah Van Buren and husband Richard Van Buren; his grandson Joshua and his daughter Blakely; his grandson Joseph and soon to be born son Joseph; and his granddaughter Abigail. Phil is also survived by Eraldo DeSantis, Anna DiCenso, Filomena Amatangelo, and many nieces and nephews. Phil is predeceased by his parents, his siblings Elena Iudiciani and Antonio DeSantis.
Visiting Hours: Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation from Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington St, Braintree MA 02184, on Tuesday, January 18, from 9am to 10:30am. Following visitation, a Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Parish, 72 Washington St, Weymouth MA 02188, at 11am. Services will conclude with the Interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
