Elsie M (Rautiala) Salorio

BRAINTREE – Elsie M. Salorio, passed away at Season's Hospice after a long illness.  She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Salorio.  She was the daughter of Eino Rautiala of OUCU, Finland and his wife, Hilja Tossivinen.  Elsie had a career with New England Telephone and Telegraph, in their advertising department, until her marriage, in 1952. Elsie had a passion for reading, romance and mystery novels.  She loved to take rides around New England, especially to Cape Cod and the Atlantic Ocean beaches. She loved the water. Elsie also had a passionate love of all of her family.  Funeral Service will be held on Thursday January 17th, with a visiting hour from 9 AM to 10 AM, followed by a Christian Prayer Service at 10 AM at the Peck Funeral Homes of 516 Washington St., Braintree, MA 02184.  Burial to follow at 11:15 AM at the Blue Hills Cemetery 700 West St.  Pastor Heidi Johnston will officiate from the Faith Lutheran Church of Quincy.
