Doris Mae (Lewis) Arnold

                   Mrs. Doris Mae Lewis Arnold passed away Saturday August 4th.  A current resident of Braintree, MA and formerly of Allston, MA. Doris was born May 13th 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA and was the daughter of Dewey Pearl Lewis formerly of Kempton, WV and Dora Melvina Willis formerly of Wilsonia, WV. She is the widow of Marshal Calvin Arnold a WWII veteran born July 19th 1914 in Garrett County, WV and died June 5th 2000 in Boston, MA.

                 Doris is survived by their four children, Kathryn Diane Arnold Abbott, Jeffrey Arnold, Deborah Arnold Sereda, and Larry David Arnold. Doris has nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Doris worked for the Boston school systems for 20 years as a lunch aid and was also employed by Shaw’s Supermarkets for 20 years until she retired at age 77. Doris was an avid knitter and crocheted.  She was loved by all and will be dearly missed by her family.  

                Funeral services will be held at the Peck Funeral Homes 516 Washington Street. in Braintree, MA on Sunday August 12th. The viewing hours are 1pm to 4pm., with a 3 PM memorial service.
