Deborah Moffett or “Debbie” of Braintree passed away after a brief illness at the age of 75. She was born in Weymouth and raised in Braintree. She was the daughter of the late John W. Moffett and the late Constance G. Moffett. She was a 32 year employee of Johnson & Johnson, retiring in 2013.
She was an avid bingo player and attended Sunday mass regularly. Devoted sister to the late Donna Hubbard of Quincy and her husband Frank Hubbard, and devoted lifelong friend of the late Jean Daly. She is survived by her sister, Dianne Bernardini of Barton, VT, and her niece, Stacey L. Boos, and her husband Keith Boos of Islip, NY, and Danielle Bernardini, and her lifelong partner, John Moore-Lamphere of Barton, VT. Mark Hubbard and Michelle Gebhardt of VA. Robert Hubbard of NE. She is also remembered by her grandnieces and grandnephews, Spencer and Brianna Boos of Islip, NY, Matthew and Connor Hubbard of VA, Owen Hubbard of NE, Lauren and Brian Gebhardt of VA, and Gabryella, Arybella and Jaxson Moore-Lamphere of Barton, VT.
Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, December 5th from 4pm - 8pm at Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington St., Braintree. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 6th, at 10:00 A.M.at St. Clare Parish 1244 Liberty St. Braintree, MA 02184, followed immediately by a burial in Braintree Cemetery, Braintree.
