David E Brodie

David E. Brodie of Holbrook formerly of Braintree, at 72 years of age passed on at the John Scott Rehabilitation & Nursing Center on January 6, 2025. David was born in Weymouth to parents David R. and Elaine W. Brodie on November 5, 1952. He was raised among his siblings in Braintree where he attended school and graduated from Braintree High in 1970. He entered the workforce as a laborer working under Local 560 union where he built a reputation of being a reliable and hard-working individual. Outside work Dave brought the same level of passion to his hobbies and interests as he could be frequently found listening to or playing music on the guitar, he also had a love of auto mechanics and a deep admiration for American muscle cars. He is survived by his loving wife Theresa Brodie of Braintree and his loving children Ashley Brodie of Southern New Hampshire, David & wife Kaitlyn of Hansen, Kyle of Rockland, and Marc Brodie of Holbrook; his siblings Marsha Macfarlane & husband Donald MacFarlane, John Brodie, Kenneth Brodie and wife Judy Brodie. As well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, and in-laws he deeply cherished, and who deeply cherished him. Services will be held at Mortimer and Peck Funeral Home in Braintree MA. Visiting hours are Tuesday January 14, 2025 from 3pm to 7pm, and a small service will be held at 11am for family and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday January 15, 2025.
