Carol Ann (McGrath) Kowalik of Weymouth, formerly of South Boston passed away on November 23rd, 2021 at the age of 67. She passed peacefully after an acute illness and a courageous 13-year fight with cancer. Carol’s greatest love was her family. A dedicated wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Carol will be missed deeply by all who were lucky to have known her. Carol was predeceased by her husband Thomas Kowalik II, and survived by her two children Thomas (Tommy) Kowalik III of Braintree and Catherine (Katie) Corrigan and spouse Patrick of Weymouth. She was the proud grandmother of Grace and Lucy Corrigan. Supportive sister to her close-knit siblings; predeceased sister Kathleen (Kathy) Reid of Abington, Paul Walsh and wife Lisa of Walpole, Kevin Walsh of Dorchester, Nancy Campbell and spouse Francis of Quincy and Brian Walsh of Dorchester. Devoted Aunt to Paul, Keith, Sean, Courtni, Ryan, Melissa, Matthew, Mark, Ava, Wendy, and Wanda. Caring niece and cousin to the McGrath family. Carol enjoyed walks, reading, watching her beloved Celtics, spending time with family/friends, and cuddling her loving cat Bob. Carol was known for her humor and resilience. Relatives and friends are respectably invited to attend her wake at the Peck Funeral Home at 516 Washington Street Braintree on December 1st, 2021 from 3-7 PM. Celebration of life to follow at a later date.
