He was born to Carleton and Dorothy Barron in Boston in 1945 and then moved to Braintree when he was in the third grade. He graduated from Braintree High School in 1963 where he played the trumpet for the high school band and where he picked up his lifelong career as an artist for which he went to art school in Boston. He became a commercial artist by trade and created many well known ads. In addition, his oil painting won many 1st place awards at the South Shore Plaza Art Show, as he was a realistic and very detailed artist. Carl was an avid gardener and animal enthusiast. The bird feeders were always full and the cats and dogs had much attention. The love of his life was his camp in Sandy River Plantation, Maine where he enjoyed fishing, hiking, boating and snowmobiling. He was a member of the First Congregational Church where he was involved in several committees throughout his life. He is survived by his sister, Lynne Hennion and niece, Jessie Hennion, and nephew, Carleton Hennion ( wife Becca) and their children Cooper and Lorelei.
