Betty May (Brown) Bruce

Betty May Bruce, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on October 23, 1937, in Quincy, MA, to her parents George and Olga Brown.

Betty spent her life nurturing those around her with her generous spirit and warm presence. Her final days were spent in the comfort of her home in Braintree, MA, surrounded by the love of her family. Betty, devoted her life to creating a home filled with laughter, understanding, and unconditional support. As a dedicated housewife, she turned the mundane into magic, making every family gathering a cherished memory and every meal a celebration of togetherness. Her hands were rarely still, as she was always found tending to the needs of her loved ones or lending a helping hand wherever it was needed.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Richard to whom she was married for 38 wonderful years.  She is also survived by a family that adores her, including her children: Richard and his wife Colleen, Donna Bruce, and Michael Bruce.Betty is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty's life was a testament to the power of love, and her legacy is carried on through the lives of her children, who embody the values she held dear. Betty May Bruce's journey on earth may have come to a gentle close, but her loving spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her. She was the embodiment of love, generosity, and kindness, and her memory will be cherished forever.

Visiting hours will be held at the Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington St. in Braintree on Thursday from 10:00 A.M.- 12:00. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 12:00. Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
