Barbara Louise (Harvey) Hutchinson

On Monday April 26th, 2021, Barbara Louise (Harvey) Hutchinson, of Braintree, passed away in Hingham Massachusetts after a brief illness.  She was 79 years old.

Barbara was born in Port Chester, New York, raised in Quincy, Massachusetts, and was a graduate of North Quincy High School.  Barbara was a professional musician and pianist for most of her life. In her earlier years she performed in many venues across the Boston metropolitan area. She participated in several productions of the Curtain Call Theater group of Braintree Massachusetts. In later years, she was proud to be the Associate Minister of Music at House of Prayer Church in Hingham, Massachusetts. She also taught piano lessons and performed at several nursing homes on the South Shore.   For much of her life Barbara also enjoyed quilting, sewing, traveling and gardening.  She was dedicated to her family and loved them very much.

Barbara was preceded in her death by her sister Roberta Harvey and son Bradford Hutchinson.  Barbara is survived by her beloved husband Irving Bradford Hutchinson and her loving children Eric Hutchinson and his wife Catherine and Anne Norman and her husband Christopher. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Jamie Kimmel, Jared Kimmel, Adam Hutchinson, Sara Hutchinson, Brendan Perkins, Mikayla Norman, Adelaide Norman, Claudia Norman, and Benjamin Norman. Funeral will be private with a memorial service announced at a later date.
