Barbara Ann (Pedicini) Bestick

Barbara Bestick, 62, of Cohasset, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Born and raised in North Bellmore, New York, Barbara was a vibrant and adventurous soul who brought light and warmth to everyone who knew her. Barbara’s passions were as colorful and varied as her personality.

She had a lifelong love for dolls, each one a reflection of her nurturing spirit and playful heart. She adored classic cars, a passion she shared with her family, and never missed an opportunity to marvel at their beauty. She was an enthusiastic decorator, especially during Halloween, when her creativity transformed her home into a magical place for all to enjoy. Barbara’s adventurous side shone brightly as she rode ATVs and Snowmobiles and embraced life’s thrills with a fearless energy. She found joy in planting flowers every spring, filling her surroundings with beauty and life. Her love for nature extended to her favorite place on Long Island, the Planting Fields Arboretum, where she cherished countless peaceful and inspiring moments. Barbara was a Disney enthusiast, finding joy and magic in every visit to the parks, especially with her family by her side.

She was also deeply devoted to her family—her beloved husband Earle Bestick JR. her son Xander Bestick and daughter Hailey Bestick, and her stepdaughter Serena Collins. They were her world, and her love for them was boundless. Barbara’s memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her kind heart, creative spirit, and zest for life. Her legacy lives on in the flowers she planted, the memories she created, and the love she shared.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at the Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington St.Braintree, Massachusetts 02184 from 10:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. on Friday December 13, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to GoFund Me, in honor of her love for nature and family. Barbara will be deeply missed but never forgotten. She will remain in our hearts as a symbol of love, creativity, and adventure.
