Barbara Lynne Bellew

Born in Somerville, MA to the late Gertrude A. (MacKinnon) Cevolani and Vincent M Cevolani on February 28, 1945. Barbara was raised and educated in Braintree from Archbishop Williams High School in 1963. She worked at Sears which is where she met her Husband. She then worked as a waitress while raising her children and beyond. She loved helping people, whether it was family, friends, strangers, or animals. She was always there for everyone. She was passionate about her gardens and took pride in how beautiful they were. She always looked forward to spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Francis W. Bellew of Rockland, her children, Beth Bellew of Pembroke, Bill Bellew and his wife Tanya of Carver and Brian Bellew of Hanover. Dear Grammy of Brenden, Madison, Ryan, Jake and Tori. Sister of Joe Cevolani of Braintree, Andrea Norton of Braintree and Uarda Barry of Rockland. Barbara also leaves behind 13 nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Peck Funeral Homes, 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 4-7pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the South Shore Humane Society at www.southshorehumane.org
