Virginia DeBello Obituary

BRAINTREE -  Virginia J. (MacKenzie) DeBello, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, October 21, 2018.  She was born on March 13, 1936 in Boston, to Colin F. MacKenzie and his wife, Christina (Gillis) MacKenzie of Nova Scotia.  She worked for Brady Enterprises as a machine operator for thirty-five years.  She was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veteran's Auxiliary in Braintree.  She also was a member of the Castle Island Association.  She also enjoyed Foxwoods and sitting at the Sunset Lake Concerts.  She leaves behind her daughter, Susan Geagan and her husband, Donald Geagan of Abington.  She also leaves her daughter Barbra Venuti and her husband Leo J. Venuti of Braintree. And she leaves her daughter Diane Mello and her husband, James of Abington.  Virginia leaves her son, Stephen DeBello and his wife Donna of Weymouth.  She also leaves her brother Robert MacKenzie of Weymouth, as well as two sisters, Mary Mullholland of Connecticut, as well as her sister Christina Franklin and her husband George of Lynnfield, MA.  Virginia was predeceased by her husband, the late Robert L. DeBello, Sr., and her son, the late Robert L. DeBello, Jr., and her late daughter, Deborah A. Baker.  She also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  The visiting hours are for Wednesday, October 24th, from 4 to 8 PM at the Braintree Peck Funeral Homes at 516 Washington St. Braintree.  The funeral Mass will be on Thursday, October 25th, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth Landing.  The burial will follow at the Mass. National Cemetery, in Bourne, MA at 1:15 PM.
