Vincent J. Mangio

Vincent J. Mangio, 72, of Braintree passed away at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth on Monday, March 19, 2018. Vincent was born in Boston and raised in Hyde Park. He was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. Vincent worked for many years as a truck driver for several area trucking firms. After he retired from the trucking industry Vincent became a limousine driver and worked for several livery companies. An avid golfer, Vincent enjoyed spending time at the Braintree Municipal Golf Course. He is survived by his beloved and devoted companion of many years, Marie F. Curley of Braintree. He is the loving brother of Francis Mangio and his wife Marie of Northport, Florida and two nieces Mary Ann D’Emilia and Dina Mann. Vincent was the son of the late Vincent and Mary (Lamacchia) Mangio.  At Vincent’s request services will be private. Donations in his memory may be sent to The Braintree Municipal Golf Course, Special Needs Golf Program, ATTN: Mr. Bob Beach PGA, 101 Jefferson Street, Braintree, MA 02184. Arrangements are being handled by The Peck Funeral Home of Braintree.
