Theresa Emily (Ferrigno) Post

BRAINTREE – Theresa Emily Post, 92, passed away on February 24, 2019.  She was the beloved wife of Ernest S. Post Jr. for 60 years. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew; Paula Jean O’Neill, Patricia O'Neill, John O'Neill, Maureen O’Neill, great niece Forest O’Neill Greenberg and 2 loving cats; Mittens and Maxine. Theresa was born and lived in West Quincy until moving to Braintree 60 years ago.  She was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1944. She retired as an Executive Secretary from Alpine Press in Braintree.  Her previous employers were at Howard Johnson’s office and Walter Baker Chocolate.  Theresa was a member of Braintree AARP #4042 and the COA. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.  She enjoyed many cruises and land tours to the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and visited most countries of the world. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend visiting hours 3 pm to 7 pm, Thursday, February 28 at Mortimer Peck Funeral Chapel, 516 Washington Street, Braintree and funeral service Friday, March 1 at 10 am at St. Clare Parish, 1244 Liberty Street, Braintree, MA followed by interment at Blue Hills Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or a no-kill animal shelter.
