Robert Cedric Letson

WEYMOUTH- Robert "Bob" Cedric Letson, 79 Years of age entered Life Eternal at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in West Roxbury on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012.Robert was born in Cambridge and had been a longtime Weymouth resident.He was a Korean Conflict veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy.He has maintained a lifelong interest in nautical affairs.He was a graduate of Burdett College and Quincy Junior College.Bob had been a postal employee at the South Postal Annex, Boston. He belonged to the South Shore Gun Club.He is survived by three sons, William Masters of Maine, and Richard and Eric Letson. Bob was the husband of the late Doris Letson. Bob is survived by his brother Bruce Letson of Maynard and by his sister Barbara Gong of Scituate.He was the brother of the late Dudley Letson III, formerly of Hangman.Robert was the son of the late Dudley Letson, Jr. and Gertrude I. (Duffy) Letson formerly of Weymouth.Visiting hour will be at the Mortimer N. Peck - Russell Peck Funeral Home, 870 Broad Street (opposite the U. S. Post Office in Jackson Square) East Weymouth.
