BRAINTREE - Quihua Li, age 91, passed away peacefully at the South Shore Hospital, in Weymouth, on July 14, 2018. She lived in Braintree for the last twenty-two years and was formerly of Chengjiang, Yunnan, China. She was a teacher of Chinese Literature both contemporary as well as historical for up to the last 5,000 years. She taught primarily in Yunnan until she retired in 1983. Quihua leaves behind her eldest son, Yilang Yu and his wife, Yue Su Fan. She also leaves behind her two beloved grandsons, Kingston Yu and Killian Yu both of Braintree. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday July 21st at 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Braintree Peck Funeral Home at 516 Washington St. Braintree. A graveside service will be held on July 30th, 2018 at the Blue Hill Cemetery 700 West St. Braintree at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are all invited to attend.
