Norma (Robery) Adams, 85, of Weymouth formerly of Braintree passed away at the South Shore Hospital on Tuesday January 8th 2018.  She was born and raised in Braintree. She lived on Solar Avenue, Braintree with her family for a number of years. In 2010 she moved to Weymouth. Over the years Norma had been employed by Armstrong Cork Company in Braintree, Electro Switch Company in Weymouth, the East Weymouth Savings Bank, and Hennessy’s News in Braintree. She was a longtime active member of the Heritage United Methodist Church. She was a former member of The Braintree Women’s Club. Norma was known for her kindness, her love of making crafts and was an avid fan of the Boston Celtics. She was the beloved wife of the late George A. Adams who passed away in 1987. She was the loving mother of John Adams and his wife Amina of Braintree and Dave Adams of Brockton. She was the grandmother of David Jr. and Sara Adams. Norma leaves her sister Phyllis Lyons and her husband Harvey Lyons of Braintree and Nancy Stanley and her husband Richard Stanley of Holliston. She was the daughter of the late Alton and Raffaela (Eaniri) Robery. A Funeral service will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree, MA on Tuesday January 16th at 11:00 AM followed by burial at Blue Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday, January 15th from 4 to 8 P.M.
