WESTFIELD – Mary {a.k.a. Bunny} Hebert (Solimini), 71 years young of Westfield, formerly of Marshfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 19, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Mary was the daughter of the late Julia and Joseph Solimini of Braintree. She was survived by her sisters Jo-Anne and her husband Richard Royer of Braintree and Julie and her husband Greg Donovan of Holbrook. She was the sister of the late Debra Mahar and her loving husband Tommy Mahar. Mary was survived by her loving husband Donald N. Hebert and her good friend, and the father of her children, Joseph R. Galgana of Marshfield.Mary was the loving mother and was survived by her 3 children: Joseph Galgana of Easton, Kim and her husband Shawn Kelly of Westfield, and Dana and his wife Mary Galgana of Plympton. She also leaves behind her 6 beloved grandchildren Matthew Kelly and his partner Diana Destefano, Luke Galgana, Julia Kelly, Peyton Galgana, Cameron Galgana and her oldest grandchild the late Shawn P. Kelly Jr.. Mary was also the proud great grandmother of our newest arrival to the family Mary Ann Rose Kelly.Mary also left behind her 6 stepchildren: Paul and Robin Hebert of Massachusetts, Bruce and Lisa Hebert of Maine, Danny and Nancy Hebert of Florida, Donny Hebert of Massachusetts, Gary and Loretta Hebert of Florida, and the late Kenneth Hebert. She was the grandmother of 13 step grandchildren.Mary had many wonderful friends and she enjoyed cooking her special dishes, knitting and crocheting blankets and other lovely apparel, arts and crafts, she was a collector of many things and enjoyed old movies and some of the newest series. But, more than anything, she loved her family and spending time with all of them.A period of visitation services will be held on Friday, January 24th from 4pm to 8pm at Mortimer Peck Funeral Home, located at 516 Washington Street, Braintree MA 02184.Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Saturday 25th starting at 10:30am. Burial will follow at around 11:30am at Blue Hill Cemetery located at 700 West Street, Braintree MA 02184.In honor of Mary, there will also be a celebration of life on the same day from 12:30-4:30pm at the ‘Braintree Sons of Italy’ located at 161 King Hill Rd., Braintree MA 01024.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association @ https://www.diabetes.org/donate
