BRAINTREE – Leo P. Nadeau, 95 years of age, passed away on Thursday, June 1st, 2017 at the Care One Center in Newton.  He was a World War II veteran, working in the Ordinance division where tanks were repaired.  Later he graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  He worked for the Sheraton Corporation for over thirty-four years and retired in the early 1980s.  He loved doing paperwork. He also loved to travel, including a cruise to Alaska with his wife Jacqueline and a trip to the Canadian Rockies with two of his daughters.  As an entertainment aficionado, he loved Lawrence Welk as well as Red Skelton and the Honeymooners.  Leo was the son of Pierre Nadeau and Lucia (Thibodeau) Nadeau of Quebec, Canada.  Leo was the beloved husband of the late Jacqueline D. Nadeau of Braintree.  Leo was the father of three sons, Peter R. Nadeau and the late Paul L. Nadeau and late Joseph G. Nadeau, all of Braintree.  He was the father of four daughters, Jeanne L. Boucher married to Wayne E. Boucher Jr. of Waltham, Denise P. Nadeau and Mark Ehrlich of Concord, N.H.; Joyce L. Josephson married to William A. Josephson of Reading, and Cindy Aiello, married to Sonny Aiello of Newtonville.  Leo leaves behind nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Leo also leaves behind his beloved sisters, Violette Woodridge of Lynchburg, VA; Jeannette Soucy and her husband Armand of Goffstown, NH. Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree on Monday, June 5th from 4 to 8 P.M. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 6th at 9:30am to be followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street, Braintree, at 10:30am.  Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.  Memorial donations may be made in his memory to St. Boniface Haiti Foundation, 383 Elliot Street, Door G, Suite 100, Newton Upper Falls, Ma 02464, or go online to: www.haitihealth.org.
