WEYMOUTH- Grace Louise (Carmichael) Hesson, 90 years of age, passed away at the Colonial Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Wednesday, April 5th 2017. She was born in Weymouth and was a lifelong Weymouth resident. She was the secretary at the First Church in Weymouth (Congregational) for many years until she retired about 15 years ago. She was a member of the Mother’s club in the church and a member of the New Comers, a women’s social club in Weymouth. Grace was a Weymouth traffic officer and a Matron of the Weymouth Police Department. She was the wife of the late Robert Joseph Hesson who passed away in 1988. Grace was the loving mother of Susan Cortese of Nashville, TN, Lynne Dombrowski married to Robert W. Dombrowski of Mansfield, and Robin Hesson of Plymouth. She is survived by a niece Joyce Carmichael of Arundel, ME. Grace was the proud grandmother of Justin Cortese, Abby Cortese, Jenna Dombrowski, and Nicole Dombrowski. Grace was also the great -grandmother to Liam and Audrey Cortese. Funeral services will be private.
