Carroll, Brian of Braintree passed away on Sunday August 11 at age 71. Loving husband of Cami Milward (Matthew). Brian is the son of the late Edward and Margaret Carroll. Devoted stepfather of Amy (Milward) Morin and her husband Peter Morin of Braintree, Michael Milward and his wife Christine of Braintree and Kerri (Milward) Kinsella and her husband Scott Kinsella of Winthrop. Brother of John Carroll of Sherborn and Richard Carroll and his wife Venna of Foxborough. Loving Grampa of Michael, Mary Kate and Matt Milward, Thomas, P.J. and Sean Morin and Carolyn and Colin Kinsella. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Brian left college to join the Air Force during the Vietnam War attaining the rank of Sargent. He was a Laser Optics Technician with Raytheon Corp. and several other companies and later started a very unique business called Countertop Rescue. Upon purchasing a little car called a PT Cruiser, he and Cammi travelled to many states in the U.S. and Canada attending car shows and meeting many wonderful people who became long time friends. Brian also enjoyed going on cruises and spending time with his family. He was invited to join a Monday breakfast group with Charles, Harry and Dennis who were fellow Veterans and who quickly became close friends. He loved his Shitzu dogs, Tucker and Toby, and they will miss him.
Visiting hours will be held at The Mortimer N. Peck Funeral Home,516 Washington St. Braintree, Saturday, August 17 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. with a Funeral Service following at 1 P.M. at the funeral home. Brian was a proud Air Force Veteren.
