BRAINTREE - Mary Adams. I was born on November 25th, 1935 in Gloucester, MA, as it was my Mom's hometown. I am the youngest of three children and I had an older sister and brother. I was the baby of the family and everyone knew it. I graduated from Braintree High School in 1953. I was never married and had no children of my own. Right out of high school I worked at a shoe factory called "Native Footwear" in Braintree. I later went to work at the Bradlees Warehouse in Braintree for about 20 years until my retirement. I have always had an interest in bowling, I love to bowl, and I was on an actual bowling team. Our family tradition is having dinner at my sister's house. I love my family and I am always so proud of them. My favorite travel destination is Hawaii. I have gone there a few times because my sister's stepson lives there. What I love most about the Shaw Home is the people that live there. I love the way the Shaw Home is run; it is also very clean. I had always heard wonderful things about the Shaw Home and it is all true. I am truly fortunate to have lived there. My visitation hours will be from 1PM to 3PM this Sunday February 25th at the Mortimer-Russell Peck Funeral Chapels in Braintree, MA, at 516 Washington Street at the intersection of West and Washington Street.
