BRAINTREE - ANN S. (BENSON) KING, 75, formerly of Braintree and Milton died at her home in Sandwich, on Friday, February 15, 2008, following a long illness. She was born in Milton and graduated from Milton High School with the Class of 1951. She moved to Braintree in 1965 and had lived in Hyannis and Sandwich for the past four years. Ann was a former secretary for the Draper Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

She is survived by a son, F. Andrew King, of Upton, MA and by a daughter, Ellen (King) Knight of Sandwich. Her grandchildren are Michael King, Catherine King, Gia King and Caitlyn Finch. She is the sister of Katharine T. Bickford of Braintree. Ann is the aunt of Jane Bickford of Roslindale, Sara Berger of Quincy, Faith Bickford of Weymouth and Fred Bickford of Norwell. She is also survived by five great nieces and great-nephews. She was a daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Scanlon) Benson.

Funeral from the Mortimer N. Peck a" Russell Peck Funeral Homes at 516 Washington Street, BRAINTREE, on Wednesday, February 20th, at 9:30 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, SOUTH BRAINTREE SQUARE, at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at the Milton Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
