DIGHTON – Winifred Ann (Carter) Coveney, 85 years of age, of Dighton passed away quietly at her home on Wednesday evening, February 23, 2017. Born in Lynn, MA in 1931 she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Anna (Lermure) Carter and wife of the late Henry A. Coveney, Jr. Wynn was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother survived by five children: Diane Loveday and husband Chris of Sebastian, FL, Cheryll Coveney and Thomas Bombard of Rockland, Michael Coveney and wife Roseanne of Braintree, Janice Bonnell and Peter McCoy of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Aimee Fulks and husband Parris of Dighton. She was also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  Her passing is a bitter sweet reminder of all that we have lost but also helps us to remember all we enjoyed while she was alive. Visiting hour will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 2nd at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington Street, Braintree to be followed by a Funeral Mass at the Church of Saint Thomas More, Elm Street and Hawthorn Road, Braintree at 10:30 A.M.
