At 77 years of age, entered Life Eternal at her home on Friday, June 2, 2017. She was born at Kearny, N.J. Ruth graduated from Malden High School, Mass Memorial School of Nursing and Emmanuel College. She worked for 40 years at the University Hospital, Boston which became Boston Medical Center. She was a member of Emmanuel Church in Braintree where she participated in the Thrift Shop. At Boston Medical Center she was Chairwomen of the Chapel Committee. She was a member of the Braintree Gardeners Guild. In earlier years she had been a member of the Rainbow Girls. Ruth married Ronald A. Sandquist her beloved husband on January 7, 1961 at St. Paul’s Church, Malden.  She was the devoted mother of Kimberly A. Brady married to Patrick Brady of Easton and Dana R. Sandquist married to Lynn Sandquist also of Easton. She was the loving grandmother of Christopher, Brian, and Matthew Brady and Kyle and Daniel Sandquist. She is survived by her brother Harold Ellsworth of Orleans. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visiting Hours to be held on Wednesday June 7th from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington Street, Braintree. The funeral service will be private and will be followed by burial at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.  Memorial donations may be sent to the American Heart Association, P.O.
