Robert L. DeBello Jr.

57 years of age, of Needham formerly of Weymouth, passed away at his home on July 27, 2013.  Robert was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester before moving to Weymouth in his childhood.  He graduated from Weymouth South High School.  He lived in Weymouth before moving to Needham in 2004.  He was a carpenter working at various places throughout his career.  He enjoyed hiking with his dog ‘Lady’ and enjoyed cooking as well as collecting antiques. 

He was husband to the late Darlene M. (Donadio) DeBello who passed away in 1991. Robert is the son of Virginia (McKenzie) DeBello of Weymouth and the late Robert L. DeBello Sr.   Robert is survived by his loving children Robert C. DeBello and his girlfriend Kristen Chancholo both of Abington, Stacy L. Whitney of Hingham, Gina T. DeBello of Quincy, Garrett S. DeBello and Alayna D. DeBello both of Needham, and Kelsey L. DeBello of Weymouth.  He is survived by his siblings Steven DeBello of Weymouth, Susan Geagan and Barbara Venuti both of Braintree, Diane Mello of Abington, and the late Deborah Baker.  Robert is survived by his three grandchildren, Cameron, Dracen, and Keegan.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck – Russell Peck Funeral Home, 870 Broad Street (Opposite the U.S. Post Office in Jackson Square) East Weymouth on Tuesday from 4-7pm.  A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Burial will be private at Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.  Memorial donations may be sent to the DeBello Family Fund, C/O Citizens Bank, 300 Grove Street, Braintree, MA 02184.
